Odin Cafe reviews
Visually speaking, the place looks really lovely with lots of decorative lights outside but the furniture inside is in bad condition so beware if you happen to be here on a day wearing white clothes. The stairs leading to the second and third floors are narrow and steep, making it a bit hard to reach the highest floor. I'm pretty sure that such stairs will surely discourage people from going upstairs on rainy days. However, it's worth going upstairs (the third floor) to enjoy your drink and the view of the West Lake, especially at night. In terms of drink, drinks are okay, nothing special to be honest. The price is high (ranging from 25,000 VND to 50,000 VND) but not surprisingly high in such an expensive city like Hanoi (of course, Hanoi is more expensive than most cities in Vietnam).
Visually speaking, the place looks really lovely with lots of decorative lights outside but the furniture inside is in bad condition so beware if you happen to be here on a day wearing white clothes. Another worth-mentioning thing about this place is that part of the floor of the third floor is made of glass. The glass doesn't look attractive but it's interesting to notice it because it's a sign of prior renovation. This three-floor cafe has been renovated from an old two-floor house. That explains why the stairs to the second floor is made of bricks and attached to the outside of the cafe's left side wall while the built-inside-the-second-floor spiral one is made of steel. Both stairs are narrow and steep, making it a bit hard to reach the highest floor. I'm pretty sure that such stairs will discourage people from going upstairs on rainy days. However, it's worth going upstairs (the third floor) to enjoy your drink and the view of the West Lake, especially at night.
