Pakka Indian Restaurant reviews
Very cool ambience. Gives you a feel of being in India.
The staff is friendly and courteous, taste of the good is great and if you make a reservation, the table will have a board with your name on it.
As it is in a five star resort, it is a bit on the costlier side but rest assured, the ambience and the food totally makes up for it.
Food tasted awesome but the chicken quality in the Tikka Massala sadly was subpar (lots of fatty meat). Take the paneer dish instead and you'll be happy!
Prices are high but athmosphere/music was very good!
I was very happy to re-visit Pakka during my second stay at Salinda! Chef Lila not only spoiled us every breakfast with freshly made masala tea and aloo paratha but also made our evenings unforgettable with his authentic Indian creations. Must try when on Phu Quoc!
Food: Not really authentic Indian taste even though cooked by an Indian chef. The chicken tikka masala is overly sweet.
The garlic naan did not taste of any garlic.
The Himalaya ice cream was nice but lack of saffron taste.
Overall, the dishes could be strong with Indian herbs and spices (spices does not mean spicy food).
Amazing food! Great taste and quality with matching service. We had the tasting platter and every single dish was convincing. The chef even came to ask for our feedback - We will definitely be back!
Not only are the staff so incredibly attentive and friendly but the food was phenomenal.
We got the shared platter for two and it was the most scrumptious meal. I’m quite picky and I liked every curry on it!
Before our meal the chef even came out to introduce himself. On top of all this the decor, ambience and atmosphere incredibly relaxing and enjoyable, definitely the nicest restaurant we have been to on this island. We can’t wait to try the others at Salinda.
This is such a fantastic restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was fabulous. It's a bit expensive compared to other restaurants in Vietnam, but the food was really great.
Food is good. But Their service guys LINH was too much arrogant and rude. He dont kno, how to behave with customer. As soon as we enter the restaurant he gave us arrogant look, as if we are here for for free food. And if we ask him anything he always reply in rude tone.all the good food fun was drained because of him. I think management shd teach him how to behave. As he is wasting their effort for nice ambience and awesome food.
Chef was very nice. He had word with us after our dinner to take suggestions.
Overall everything was nice Mr. LINh
The best indian food I've ever had! Meat is tender and juicy. Sauces are incredibly full of flavors.
The Chef greeted us during our dinner and he's originated from Delhi. He knows how to mix and match every spices, leaving you surprisingly amazed. Every dish is freshly cooked as you ordered.
The service is great, friendly and attentive.
This is the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to! The food was unbelievable, the service was great and the entire atmosphere was just lovely. A bit pricey but totally worth it!
If you love Indian food, then you need to dine here. Here I got a perfect lamb vindaloo, nice starters and dessert. Service is able to speak English and is very friendly.
Very nice restaurant with great interior that give us a great dining experience.
The staff gave exelent service and helped coaching us in choosing the food and the right level of spices in the meal.
Truly a great dining experience. Highly recommended
The food was ok but the price is 5times higher than average + this restaurant is just for the resort’s residence. A small water costs 85,000 which the original price is 5000.:) + a lots mosquitos
Superb modern Indian restaurant, friendly service.
Beautiful hotel development grounds leading to the beach.
My vindaloo was well cooked but not spicy enough. Vegetable curry and Nan both excellent.
Recommended, but if you want a hot curry make very sure you get it!
Visited here as part of our stay at Salinda Resort - The food was lovely and the veggie samosas were the biggest I’ve seen! The staff were all wonderful and we were even greeted by the chef at the end:)
Never been to India, but if Indian food is like in Pakka Restaurant then I would live there if I could! We loved the whole marinated fish from tandoor oven and the butter chicken is to die for! Very attentive service and cute decor!
Our dinner was nothing but perfect. Lovely service and delicious food: tried butter chicken and dal curries. Their homemade Indian ice cream is a great finish to our beautiful night!
First time trying Indian food:) really nice and interesting menu. We ordered big platters of different Indian dishes to share and really enjoyed the experience. The place is beautiful too!
