Tam Coc Green Fields Homestay

It’s a lovely homestay that we warmly recommend. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is very good and the hosts are very nice. The location is great, close to the places to visit. And the price is right.

The room itself and the service wasn’t bad, but when it came to the ‘included breakfast’ I was, to say the least mortified. One singular thick and stodgy pancake garnished with four slices of banana, no syrup, no butter and certainly no flavour to report. After a long tiresome day fuelled by said “pancakes” (if you can call them that) we decided to eat dinner at the homestead and 30 mins after ordering were met with dry rice paper rolls, a measly mound of chicken with rice and and a warm, barocca tasting orange juice (on the menu ‘Fanta’) all for a whopping 240,000 Vnd. This whole experience left me with one question, “How can i give negative eetswas”. My final advice is not to avoid coming but under no circumstances would I recommend ordering anything from the menu.

The food was great, the price was just right and we got adequate help from the homestay owner. A young man has talked to us many times in a friendly way.

Our nights in the green field homestay were the best on our Vietnam trip so far. The rooms are all new and well equipped. You have a laundry service, a scooter rental and you can book including breakfast. The whole family runs the homestay and they are all wonderful. We got tips for our further trip and our bus trip was also booked from here. We really enjoyed our time here and would like to recommend it to you.

Very friendly family that runs this homestay. Felt just like being at home! They even cooked us a home made dinner with the other guests for our last nights. I definitely recommend you to stay at this homestay in ninh binh!

It's horrible, even though it's gone, but thinking back is scary, me and my friend at Tamcoc Green fields and being bitten by snakes are lucky to be fine, I'm really scared, oh my god, you need to think when you come to this place very danger

Went here for coffee with my gf, menu said 20k for coffee. After we where done i handed him 40k, the owner said no no 50 000, so i handed him 10k more. He said no 60 000, so i showed him the menu that it says 20k. He implied that menu prices are for hotel guests only.

Very good welcoming at green field homestay. We just stay when the owner became a mother what a bliss for their family.

Didn't stay here, but as I was walking passed I was invited in for a coffee. Very friendly owners! They showed me the rooms and they looked really nice, clean and comfortable. It's in a great location, if it wasn't my last day in ninh binh I would of stayed for sure.

This is a warning to the future guests, the host was very kind to us for 3 days but on the last morning, when we were having breakfast, my boyfriend went to the room and found him inside our room, the face in our bag. We left this hostel very angry. Just take care of your stuff if you stay there, especially during breakfast.

Very good establishment, they are very helpful in assisting planning your trip around the area. The rooms are very comfortable. However, I had communication difficulty when booking external vacation from this location.

I stopped nextdoor at the white swan geust house witch wasnt a very nice room at all.i would off preferred here.

Peacfull family run place. Cleanliness could be a factor if you mind that. Than I don't mean the rooms but the outside sitting area.

We booked our room on the way from Hanoi to Ninh Binh and wanted to stay two nights here. Because of the new year's celebration transport got very hard to get and we had to stay one more night.

On the morning after our first night our host Quang sat with us and helped us in two whole hours to get transport for the upcoming stations. He phoned with the companies and tried as much and hard as he could to help us.

The breakfast was always very much and tasty, the room quiet big and very comfortable beds. First nights after half week that I got 10 and 12 hours of sleep.

He helps with planing trips and tours and can give very good tips.

We would recommend this place to everyone who is searching not just for a room to sleep in but also a caring, friendly and helpful host.

Excellent staff. Very helpful. From helping resolve my phone issues to help plan my visit they were accommodating. I did book the room I chose because it said garden view. This was not the case. One of the windows was boarded up/ filled in. The other window in the room was looking out into the courtyard where people checked in and ate. If I opened the curtains everyone could see me and the whole room. Wifi was spotty. If you’re looking for a place only to crash as you see the sights I would recommend.

Quan and his family were so nice and helped us plan our trip around the area. The room was clean and spacious, the outside area is nice to sit and relax and the food was delicious (best spring rolls we had in vietnam!). Thank you so much for welcoming us in such a wonderful way!

Basic room.no kettle or tv but good for a one night stay.not in tam coc about a kilometre away on the road in.family very friendly and bike hire available

Good room (have only 3-4 rooms) very helpful and polite owner. I stayed 5 nights.got from them motorcycle and bus arrangements and many other things with patience, fairness and smile.i highly recommand.
