Where to begin?
A business trip to Vietnam got off to a rocky start when my husband’s and my suitcases were lost in transit. While I could find “off the rack” clothing in Ho Chi Minh, my husband, who is 6’6 couldn’t find pants remotely close to being long enough. We arrived in Hoi An the following day and again had no luck finding anything for him.
A resort guide recommended 5 Stitches Tailors to us as a “Hail Mary” of hope. One word: incredible!

First off, the owners and employees were incredibly kind and friendly. We enjoyed some native fruit with them and laughed in spite of an otherwise rough start to the trip. They were fun and personable.

Next, we selected the style and material for his suit, shirt, and chino pants—right down to the lining. Then he was meticulously measured… DOZENS of measurements.

Within 24 hours, his items were ready for ”finished” fitting. He went back to the shop and did the fitting in between work activities. Once the final alterations were made, Trang with 5 Stitches brought the items to us at the resort, as we didn’t have time to get back before leaving for our Gala dinner.

My husband has never had anything tailor made and off-the-rack has always been too baggy to get the right length. I was BLOWN AWAY at how amazing he looks in both the suit and chino pants.

I also had two dresses made, which were equally beautiful, but suits, I believe, are much more difficult to get right and they have perfected their craft.

For the suit, shirt, chino pants, and two cocktail dresses, we paid $470 all-inclusive, which would have easily been the cost of the suit alone in the US. I absolutely cannot recommend 5 Stitches Tailors enough. Please pay this small family business some love if ever in Vietnam and you want to appreciate genuine quality of craftsmanship!

I could not imagine a more pleasant experience than having clothing made at 5 Stitches. On my recent visit I bought 5 shirts, suit, 3 dresses and a pair of pants. Each piece as beautiful as the last with great double stitching and a perfect fit. Highly recommend

The women who work here are incredible! I went with a group of 6 people and we all got multiple garments and they were finished in less than 2 days. We provided reference photos of what we wanted and they were able to execute it to perfection. Their fabric selection is high quality and they were able to tailor our clothes beautifully. Overall great experience and the pieces I got will live in my closet for a long time.
