Veggie Saigon Restaurant reviews
82Just visited, currently in the 1st floor of building. Favor is good, the place is not quite big but comfortable, will come back soon!
The vegan pho was quite flavorful, well into the umami territory of «which bone broth did they use»? Not pressing charges here, but it didn’t taste kosher enough to return. 4/5 for the good attitude, working Wi-Fi with the password «iloveyou» and accepting card payment. It looks like a roadside ghost kitchen, but there’s ample seating in the dark back room.
Really tasty local vegetarian/vegan food, all for a good price. Most dishes are between 40,000 and 60,000 Dong. The owners seemed nice.
Mình thấy đồ ăn ở đây rất ngon, giá như này ở Q1 là quá rẻ. Đồ ăn thì phong phú tha hồ lựa chọn.
Quán be bé nằm ở mặt tiền nên rất dễ tìm.
High recommendation. Good taste. The space is clean and comfortable, even not very big. Will be my favorite restaurant and visit again.
I was very disappointed in this place.
First off, you remove your shoes and use shared sandals. It's extremely easy to get athletes foot from someone that has it and this just risks everyone.
Second, the fresh vegetables spring rolls, or summer rolls were filled with rice noodles. They're supposed to be majority vegetables, not cheap rice noodles. Complete waste of money.
Their soup is the same, made with a cheap tomato based broth.
These prices don't reflect their lack in portions or ingredients.
The flavor is also bland and lacking of any culture.
Skip out on here and find a better vegetarian place.
What a lovely discovery! Very tiny and cute place, they make you remove your shoes and wear some slippers to climb up the stairs and seat in a cosy fresh room. Service is pleasant, quick and the food is fresh and tasty. About +20 different dishes completely vegan are served. Will go again!
I like this place very much being a Buddhist and from ladakh india I am vegetarian.and finally i found this place nice and delicious food.thanks Veggie Saigon Restaurant and Vietnam hope to see you all again
Pure vegetarian restaurant in Vietnam? Yeah right! That too in the heart of South. Really friendly staff. Good English as well! (hats off). Not at all expensive. And tasty Vietnamese cuisines. Must go for it. Visiting more than once for sure.
Amazing vegan place in Saigon. The people who work here are ALL extremely kind and welcoming. The food is so amazing and the iced coffee with vegan milk is simply the best I have had in Vietnam good job!
A vibrant vegan and vegetarian restaurant. Really pleased with the food and service. Dont let the unusual office space detour you. Its worth dinning in.
I think this place is good for the price of the food.its quite cheap and the food tastes okay. The service was really fast, we got our spring roll noodles and pad Thai noodles in less than 5mins.
No shoes policy which I’m not a fan of.
Also no windows inside.
Great food, extensive menu. Happy to come here again. Very slow service, we were the first one who came in the room, then three other groups came later. But don't know how they organized it, the last group got food first, and we got food at last.
Clean and I love the idea that you have to take your shoes off before going upstairs. The staff are very quick to serve you. The menu is quite extensive. The first visit I opted for the new banh mi and the milk tea with aloe vera. The drink (35k) was a 5/5. Wish there was more because I sipped through that in 3 big sips. The banh mi (20k) was not good. I've had way better at street vendors. It lacked flavour and was just not nice. I'd skip it next time. Second visit I had the bun cha gio and it was standard. Very nice but not wow either. Good value for money though. Would come here again for the service and to try out the other dishes on the menu
Rather disappointing. I read so many good things about this place, but the food was underwhelming. Only the fried mushrooms were really tasty, but then again its fried and you would have to be a really bad cook to make something fried taste bad.
Having read all the reviews I was expecting the place to blow me away. Be exceptional and filled with taste. To be honest, it is not. It is rather bland. The Pho is good, but not the traditional taste. They do provide a lot of noodles and some tofu. The mushrooms are awesome, but mushrooms are always awesome. The atmosphere is good. Be careful as the staff speaks little English. So if you are after gluten free or anything else, be really clear. E.g. The rice noodles and instant wheat noodles can be mixed up.
