Veggie Saigon Restaurant

Shoes off at the door. Two story. Pleasent staff and a diverse menu in English. Food isn't going to be something you write home about but it's healthy, fresh and allllll good!

Mình thích cách chế biến món chay ở đây. Các món trong menu phong phú, sử dụng nguyên liệu tự nhiên không lạm dụng các nguyên liệu công nghiệp. Vị cân bằng không quá mặn, không quá ngọt. Giá cũng vừa phải.

Incredible restaurant with a large and informative menu, which is something we needed because fast food stalls have a lot less info on ingredients.

I would say that this place is more upper class vietnamese judging on the decor, and the staff were extremely friendly.

My reasons for giving this place a 4 star is also down to the staff being too helpful. Every time we were getting used to the meal, there was continuous interruption on how to eat the dish, which was a little distracting.

Nonetheless, the food was very tasty and we also thanked the chef for an incredible meal!

Hướng dẫn đường đi: Quán khá dễ tìm, ở đường Đề Thám, tuy nhiên nằm trong chợ nên chú ý nhìn lên trên một chút, thấy góc bảng nhỏ nhỏ là đến.
Không gian nhỏ xinh, trang trí theo kiến trúc làm liên tưởng đến Tây Tạng ấy.dễ chịu, khách đa số là các bạn Tây.
Món ăn: Những món mình gọi (trong ảnh đính kèm) thấy ngon nhất, must try bánh hỏi nha.
Điểm trừ của quán là đợi lâu ơi là lâu luôn.
Giá cũng được tuy nhiên quán hay có chương trình liên kết với ví điện tử hoặc grab nên mình đi ăn hay được giảm giá lắm.

Love this place! The mushroom rice soup is so good and goes great with the ginger tea on the side:) prices are very good for the quality of food. It’s my second time back in 2 days. Definitely worth a visit if you’re close by!

We were looking for a vegetarian/vegan burger for a change after 3 weeks. Disappointing is a compliment; it was a small sized big disaster with a patty that was less appealing to eat than cardboard. The banh mi tasted like it had been microwaved more times than it could handle. The pad thai tried to save face but was too depressing for its own good. And to top it off, pretentious meditation chants for whatever effect. My first first and hopefully last experience of bad food in Vietnam.

Very nice Vietnamese vegetarian food - we ordered fresh spring rolls, pho and the vermicelli and grilled tofu. The pho was one of the better ones I've had in Vietnam, packed full of mushrooms in a tasty broth. The vermicelli dish was full of fragrant flavours and the tofu in it was cooked well, with quite a meaty texture making it different to the tofu you normally get. Although it was quiet, the atmosphere was nice, with peaceful Vietnamese music and nice decorations. Most mains cost 49k, so very reasonable.

Great food here! Filling and hearty veg food, delicious flavours - we shared great garlicy morning glory, spring rolls with peanut sauce, and hot pot - hot pot was awesome with lots of vegetables! Definitely recommend

I bought veggie pad thai takeaway few minutes ago from this restaurant but unfortunately they gave me the COLD pad thai. The taste was disgusting. Maybe they cooked the food first and wait until the customer come to order and give it to them. They should cook the fresh one to customer. So bad. Won't recommend it!

For affordable delicious vegan food and drinks, I kept going back to this place. The menu is extensive, the staff attractive and very friendly. Make your way to this place if you find yourself in Saigon, you can thank me later.

Very good, traditional Vietnamese cuisine for a good price. Food is simple, but it brings out the best of the flavors and veggies themselves.

Mình ăn ở Veggie Saigon cũng 5 lần rồi, chủ yếu là những món cũ mình đã gọi và nhận xét thêm vài món mới. Mì tiềm chay nước ăn ngon, vừa miệng. Tô mì đủ nhiều để không phải gọi thêm. Cơm chiên ăn vẫn ngon như vậy, một phần có thể cho 2 người ăn no. Món miến Thái và tàu hũ ky kho thì hơi đậm đà quá:). Tổng kết lại là chất lượng khá ổn nhưng Veggie nên điều chỉnh gia vị một chút sẽ ngon hơn.

Excellent quality vegetarian food - very generous portions - a clean and quiet setting and friendly service. Clear menu and english spoken - I’ve been many times and will be going back again!
